Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Buffalo, NY)

Stonegate Cedar Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Buffalo. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 383 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of production batches and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • A relevant degree or certification.
