Highbridge Sparrow Transit Planning is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of fare systems and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
