Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Vale Water Authority Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of water quality and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
