Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Thistle Learning Group Associates and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. Families are partners. What you will do • Model the cost of learning materials and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
