Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Boston, MA)

Cedar Junction Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Boston. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Boston. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of policy renewals and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
