Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Redstone Meridian Legal Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 634 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with intake forms. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
