Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Birmingham, AL)

Stonegate Orchard Energy is an energy provider in Birmingham focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Model the cost of service connections and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
