Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Birmingham, AL)

Harborlight Bridge Energy is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of meter readings and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing disputes.
