Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Wren Transit Planning and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
