Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Birmingham, AL)

Amberfield Mill Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Birmingham, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of allergen controls and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
