Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Cedar Junction Water Authority and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
