Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Ridge Insurance and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 200 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Model the cost of policy renewals and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
