Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Silverline Corner Insurance and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
