Cedar Oak Transit Planning is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 709 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of route schedules and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • A relevant degree or certification.
