Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Baltimore, MD)

Lumen Umber Legal Group is a Baltimore practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of trust accounts and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with billing records. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
