Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Baltimore, MD)

Silverline Willow Insurance Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of claims and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • A relevant degree or certification.
