Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Redstone Mill Civic Services and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Model the cost of procurement and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
