Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Austin, TX)

Bright Vista Markets serves neighbourhoods around Austin with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of shrink and waste and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with pricing. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
