Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Lumen Timber Manufacturing and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of customer orders and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
