Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Anchorage, AK)

Foxglove Granite Manufacturing is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of machine downtime and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
