Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Albuquerque, NM)

Nova Junction Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Albuquerque area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
