Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Albuquerque, NM)

Nova Hollow Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Albuquerque region. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
