Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Albuquerque, NM)

Westbrook Nest Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Albuquerque, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
