Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Albuquerque, NM)

Bluepeak Fox Manufacturing is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of machine downtime and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Albuquerque, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
