Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Albuquerque, NM)

Cedar Field Water Authority Group operates treatment plants and pipelines around Albuquerque. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
