Financial Analyst - board reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Lumen Oak Civic Services works with county and city offices around Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 711 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of budget submissions and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • A relevant degree or certification.
