Financial Analyst - board reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Nova Oak Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Virginia Beach, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of sanitation schedules and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
