Financial Analyst - board reporting (St. Louis, MO)

Highbridge Fern Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around St. Louis, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of route schedules and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
