Financial Analyst - board reporting (San Diego, CA)

Ironwood Vale Water Authority Partners supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for San Diego and nearby communities, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of pipe repairs and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
