Financial Analyst - board reporting (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Loom Insurance and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • A relevant degree or certification.
