Financial Analyst - board reporting (San Diego, CA)

Stonegate Vale Financial Group provides savings, lending and payment services from San Diego. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of customer onboarding and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory reports. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
