Financial Analyst - board reporting (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Haven Learning Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
