Financial Analyst - board reporting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Bluepeak Sparrow Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Salt Lake City, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Model the cost of ridership counts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
