Financial Analyst - board reporting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Westbrook Pine Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Salt Lake City area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
