Financial Analyst - board reporting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Harborlight Glen Civic Services is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for constituent requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of constituent requests and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
