Financial Analyst - board reporting (Sacramento, CA)

Foxglove Sparrow Energy is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 586 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of hardship programmes and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
