Financial Analyst - board reporting (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Bright Meadow Water Authority and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Model the cost of pipe repairs and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
