Financial Analyst - board reporting (Richmond, VA)

Bright Ember Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Richmond plant, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of work orders and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
