Financial Analyst - board reporting (Richmond, VA)

Cedar Sable Financial serves customers across Richmond with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of regulatory reports and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with loan applications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
