Financial Analyst - board reporting (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Stone Banking Services and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with account openings. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
