Financial Analyst - board reporting (Richmond, VA)

Highbridge Pike Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
