Financial Analyst - board reporting (Richmond, VA)

Cedar Quarry Energy is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of outage response and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service connections.
