Financial Analyst - board reporting (Richmond, VA)

Cedar Junction Water Authority Group operates treatment plants and pipelines around Richmond, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
