Financial Analyst - board reporting (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Maple Insurance and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 192 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
