Financial Analyst - board reporting (Reno, NV)

Stonegate Forge Transit Planning Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of service alerts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
