Financial Analyst - board reporting (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Bright Junction Water Authority and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 198 people based in Reno. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of water quality and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
