Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Rivermark Orchard Transit Planning is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of service alerts and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
