Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Cedar Wren Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Portland. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 149 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of service alerts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
