Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Northwind Harbor Civic Services supports public agencies in Portland with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 205 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of public records and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
