Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Northwind Maple Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Cincinnati plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 95 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of machine downtime and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
